Will Fred Perry release its Amy Winehouse range posthumously?

A statement released by the brand today said: 'We had a great working and personal relationship with Amy during the design and development of the collaboration. Amy's unique sense of style and attitude pervaded the entire collection. She was a pleasure to work with and will be deeply missed by the entire Fred Perry team.'
A spokesperson would not confirm if future collections by Winehouse would go on sale, insisting that the company would abide..
by
the wishes of Winehouse's close family.
The singer's range, which was launched in October 2010, strongly referenced her signature style, featuring herringbone miniskirts, gingham skinny trousers, tight-fitting polo shirts and deck-style loafers, a homage to her love of the Fifties'.
"She has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand's own historical reference points," said Richard Martin, Fred Perry's marketing director, when the collaboration was announced.
The promotional pictures (above) of Amy modelling her collection were taken by rock star-turned-photographer Bryan Adams, who was at the star's funeral which was held in north London yesterday.
